KRINGLE is a horror game inspired by Welcome To The Game and Scrutinized, in which you need to perform a series of tasks to decrypt a drive containing the ultimate secret to christmas.
But be careful! This secret is not to be taken lightly, as santa himself is willing to kill to protect it!

also i think my game bugged because i got the same task 7 times in a row and my "crib connect" is bugging with the numbers and going up and down every ms. I dont know if its a bug or feature but having the same task over and over? i dont think its a feature nor luck.

CribConnect freaking out is indeed a feature, as the wifi router in the kitchen was hacked and went down, preventing you from reading your window integrity.
Getting the same task 7 times in a row is also not prevented by any system and the odds of which are about 0.028%! Consider buying a lottery ticket!

Its an amazing game BUT for some reason when i open the settings menu the game resolution changes but apart from that teh whole game is pretty well made
The game resolution changing is due to the settings being changed to whatever they were the last time you changed them to upon opening the menu.
This may cause issues with some non-standard resolutions due to your native resolution being applied at startup but not being available in the menu.
I downloaded this game solely to check how well the in-game search engine worked. I am really sorry that I didn't actually try to experience the whole game, but horror isn't typically my thing. Now, interesting mechanics coded into the horror? Absolutely.

hey! i am recording a youtube video of this game and i really like it! however, i have not been able to finish it because sometimes the game doesn't allow me to open the app that i need to progress the game. is this a glitch or is it possible that i'm doing something wrong? thanks!

i don’t think the apps are greyed out. they just sometimes aren’t responding to when i need to open them. i thought maybe its because i have too many tabs open so i tried to click on the tabs at the bottom of the computer screen but sometimes they don’t open either. i will send a video later today to this chat thread. i try getting up from the chair and turning the computer off and on (in the game) but it doesn’t seem to work. i hope that makes sense. thank you! it really is a great game

I have identified the problem, it is a bug to do with minimizing apps.
If you minimize them and then click the desktop icon for them, you are not getting them back. a fix is on the way!
This issue is resolved as of Hotfix 1.2.3

The game is really fun. I just find that Santa breaks in too quickly. I would either reduce the window damage he does or increase how much healing each repair kit does. Keep it up though.

I think the patch messed something up with Kringle and the windows. He does not leave no matter what I do. He just keeps banging against the same window until I run out of repair tools and he eventually breaks in and I lose. The game in its current state is unbeatable and I would love to give it another shot once a patch has been implemented to fix this!

The bug with Hydra text going off-screen was fixed like a day after the hotfix in Patch 1.1.4 👍
I thought this game was quite interesting and while it's not my cup of tea as far as the hacking part goes.
I had to support a indie dev so I played it anyway!
